About me
Welcome to my world of data! I'm Troye Gilbert, a data scientist and analyst from Nairobi, Kenya who is passionate about finding insights that result in substantive change. I am deeply drawn to statistics, patterns, and the power of data, and I thrive in situations where technical proficiency and original problem-solving are combined.

As a lifelong learner, I constantly seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of data science. My academic background in Computer Information Systems has equipped me with a solid foundation in statistics, mathematics, and computer science, enabling me to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.
In addition to my technical proficiency, I have excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities. I work best in multidisciplinary teams because they encourage a culture of sharing ideas, working together to solve problems, and coming up with creative solutions. I think the finest outcomes come from open communication, when each team member's viewpoint is valued and accepted.
Beyond my passion for data science and analytics, I embrace a well-rounded lifestyle filled with diverse hobbies and interests. When I'm not immersed in datasets and algorithms, you'll often find me cheering on my favorite soccer team, Manchester United with uncontainable enthusiasm. The beautiful game has always captivated me with its raw emotion, strategic gameplay, analysis and the unifying power it holds across cultures and continents. I also have a deep appreciation for fitness, meditation and cycling.
